Location. The Avalon Hotel and Spa, the first luxury boutique property located in Portland, Ore., incorporates the amenities of a destination spa and resort into its original design. This hotel is located on the Willamette River at John's Landing, known as the gateway to Portland's exclusive residential neighborhoods.
Hotel Features. The design of this hotel pays homage to the contemporary sophistication and warm hospitality of the Pacific Northwest, displaying sensitivity toward this area's unspoiled surroundings. The handsome seven story red brick property houses a two story lobby and guest reception area. The lobby features commissioned works of art by local Pacific Northwest artists, presented alongside vintage velvet sofas in a fireside setting.
